Support & Advocacy

MyChild’sCancer offers critical support services, including relocation assistance and community support, to families relocating to the United States for treatment. Our dedicated Family Coordinators work closely with these families to address a range of needs, including housing, transportation, transitioning to new schools, and navigating a different culture.

Our mission is to provide a strong support system that allows families battling childhood cancer to feel well-supported, enabling them to prioritize and address the unique needs of their children.

In addition to these essential services, MyChild’sCancer conducts outreach to relevant treatment centers, hospitals, doctors, nurses, and insurance providers. Our goal is to ensure that our families receive the highest quality care available. We go the extra mile by translating complex medical terminology and documents into native languages if necessary. We also facilitate second opinions and assist in negotiating medical bills.

Our patient advocacy work empowers families to take a proactive role in determining the treatment course for their child's cancer, significantly improving the chances of survival for these young patients.
