While MyChild'sCancer is currently incorporated in Canada, we are still in the process of obtaining charitable status. Once this status is granted, we will be able to issue tax-deductible donation receipts retroactively.

Our legal team at KPMG expects this process to be completed next year. According to the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA), you can claim charitable donations for tax purposes for up to five years after the year in which the donation was made. This allows you to carry forward unclaimed donations from the previous five years and apply them to your current tax return.
